The Maine State Federation of Firefighters held their annual conference in Portland. It culminated with a parade containing almost 100 vehicles. The girls love the lights and sirens.
We also took a trip up to Bowdoin College. The students there are going to have a Dance Marathon in February with the proceeds going to Barbara Bush Children's Hospital. We were one of three families asked to attend their kickoff event (a Fall festival), so students could meet some patients and hopefully sign up for the marathon. The girls had a great time dancing, playing games, painting pumpkins, eating locally made donuts, and getting face paint.
