We had a great time celebrating Mother's Day yesterday. I started off the morning with the Sea Dogs' Mother's Day 5K. I added on about 12 minutes to last years time, but for good reason! Kaitlyn traded up from the kids' Fun Run and did the whole 5K with me! She was pretty excited and we ran the first mile, but between miles 2 and 3 she was tired out. We walked the rest, but ran over the finish line together! We stopped for a yummy brunch at the Egg and I and some frozen yogurt at Sweet Frog on the way home.
Kevin and the girls sent me some beautiful flowers at work earlier in the week. He also made a delicious dinner for all of us girls. One of my best gifts this year was a 24 hour period of no diaper changes! That's right... Kevin changed all of Kenzie's diapers all day long!!!
My very favorite gifts this year are the handmade/foot-made gifts from Kenzie-bug! I am so thankful for the Morrison Center and all that they do with Kenzie and for her!
