We were so sad when Miss Tracey moved away, but a few weeks ago we found another local photographer who does natural light photos and was doing "Spring" mini sessions.  Luckily, we had an amazingly warm day!  I'd say they came out pretty great!

Visit to the County

This past weekend we headed up to "The County"... what Mainers call Aroostook County, the homeland of Kevin hahaha.  It was great to get out somewhere that didn't have any medical appointments and see family for the first time in over a year!

On Saturday, we drove up to St. Agatha (yes, it's possible to go even further north than Caribou and still remain in the US!) and took Aunt Cassandra to the Lakeview Restaurant for a belated birthday dinner.

Kaitlyn's dinner plate was as big as her head!

Back at the hotel, Kaitlyn gave Aunt Cassandra one of her birthday presents.  It was a huge hit... even if all Kenzie wanted to do was wave it around by the ear!

Sunday we met some more family for lunch

The girls with Aunt Linda and Marie... who planned lunch

That evening, we went to Kevin's cousin's, Lori's, house for lunch.  Her little boy, Liam, and their dog Peanut made a big impression on Kenzie.  She actually said Liam's name!  She loved on Peanut, who was actually about five times her size- he's a Mastiff/ St. Bernard mix and HUGE, but so sweet!

Coloring together at the hotel

Then snuggling

All the excitement broke Kenzie!

Monday morning, we packed up to head home.  But we had to get our Tim Horton's fix first!

Easter

We had a fun, mostly low-key Easter weekend!

We started off with coloring Easter eggs.  Thanks to pictures my cousin, Amy, posted on Facebook last year we found this really awesome machine that allowed Kenzie to decorate her first Easter egg!  She loved it and wasn't thrilled about taking turns with Kaitlyn, hahaha.

Next up was cookie decorating!

Of course, the Easter Bunny came while the girls were in bed!

We had cinnamon rolls for breakfast.

First the girls hunted for eggs.  Kenzie showed a talent for spotting them.  She also discovered that if she threw them into the basket hard enough, they would pop open and reveal the candy within. Kaitlyn was still finding some of her eggs today, haha.

Then, of course, the girls checked out their baskets!  Kaitlyn claims her favorite is the stuffed dog and the bracelet.  Kenzie loved her bag of Reese eggs and Minnie.  My favorite, of course, is the dog!

We did some Easter dress pictures before heading to Boston for Kenzie's appointment the next day.

Kenzie rolling around in the hotel (Kaitlyn stayed home with Mammy since she had school)...

We tried out a new restaurant and they had the cutest kid's burger presentation!

We also brought some of her Reese miniatures with us.  She frantically signed more between each one.  She ate six before we cut her off!

Crashed hard!
