Easter Weekend

We had a really fun Easter weekend!  It started out when Kenzie brought home this fun bunny picture from school.  Obviously, she is into the abstract style!

Friday morning we dyed eggs.  Kaitlyn picked out this fun (and messy!) Galaxy kit.

For lunch we headed to The Lobster Shack for opening day!  We think they have the best lobster rolls!  then we walked outside for a bit...

Full belly + car ride = nap time!

That night, Mammy watched the girls and Kevin and I had a date night.  Usually we go to a movie, but I've been dying to try one of those painting classes for years!  We had so much fun!  The paintings didn't come out too badly either.

When we got home, the girls went to bed and the Easter bunny came!

This morning we had a really special Easter breakfast... homemade cinnamon rolls courtesy of one of our baking classes!

Then it was off to Mass.

Kaitlyn even dressed her American Girl doll in her Easter best!

Then it was time to explore our Easter baskets and hunt for eggs!

This year was big for Kenzie.  She got the idea of looking for eggs and putting them in her basket.  We had to point out a lot of them, but once she saw them she crawled right over and put them in her basket!

Kaitlyn has already changed her American Girl doll into the Brownie uniform her doll got.

The girls loved all their Easter goodies.  We really enjoyed our weekend and hope everyone else had a great Easter too!
