On Kevin’s birthday we went to the Pirates game. On the way, Kevin commented that he wanted to watch the ball drop tonight to which Kaitlyn replied, no Daddy, I wanna watch the Bruins! That’s my girl!

Wally the Green Monster (from the Red Sox) visited for the game…
After the game, we stayed for the indoor fireworks and then went home for some birthday cake. One of my presents for Christmas this year, was a “Baking with the Cake Boss” book. So, Kevin ended up with a chocolate cake, filled with chocolate ganache and fresh bananas and strawberries; and iced with whipped Italian cream…
