Kaitlyn requested one of our favorite quick service restaurants, Moe's BBQ, for her birthday lunch. She brought her friend, Anna, who just happens to be our next door neighbor, with her. She also requested that I make these sunflower cupcakes for her cake. They are cookies and cream with vanilla frosting and an Oreo cookie center.
This present was a hit with both girls! It was an impromptu buy when we were in Houston for the Rare Disease Conference. I saw it- knew Kaitlyn would love it- and had Kevin sneak back and buy it!
She was also really excited to get the next book in the series she is reading.
Last doll in the series that she needed...
She also LOVED the presents from Anna. She was still talking about them this morning!
She opened her cards when we got home. Our usher from the Sea Dogs, Frank, remembered her birthday and sent her a card (and Slugger baseball cards for her and Kenzie)!
For dinner, Kaitlyn requested homemade pizza. She was really excited to help make it!
