Kaitlyn’s First Trip to Fenway

Kaitlyn has been telling us for awhile that she wanted to go see the Red Sox.  So last weekend we surprised her with a trip to Boston and didn’t tell her what we were doing until we showed up at the ballpark.

First though we had to stop at Jacob Wirth for lunch so Kevin and I could have Weiner Schnitzel and spaetzle.  Yummy!

Maine Day at Fenway!!!  The Sox were celebrating all the Red Sox fans in Maine.  They flew the Maine state flag.  There was an entire section of fans from Maine.  The people who sang The National Anthem and God Bless America were from Maine.  L.L. Bean employees came down and were doing giveaways.  Several of the mascots from Maine teams were there.  And lots of other stuff…      Kaitlyn’s First Fenway Frank :)  

St. Peter’s Street Festival

This year Grammy and Aunt Cassandra came to St. Peter’s Street Festival with us.  Kaitlyn had fun dancing, eating pizza, and spending time in the bounce house.    

Girls Night Out

Kevin had to work, so Kaitlyn and I went to a Sea Dogs game together.  The team was giving out free jerseys to the first 1,000 kids through the gate.  Here’s Kaitlyn with hers…

 

My Little Tiger

During summer camp at Kaitlyn’s day care, one of the teachers did face painting for the kids.  One of the kids picked Spiderman, one picked Hello Kitty, and Kaitlyn picked a tiger…

Maine Wildlife Park

We love going to the Maine Wildlife park in Gray, Maine.  It is a small zoo that only has animals native to Maine.  All of the animals are unable to live in the wild. After the park, we stopped in at Trader Joe’s for a few things.  Kaitlyn takes her shopping very seriously…

Clam Festival

Kaitlyn is definitely getting used to this whole riding thing.  The first thing she asked when she saw the rides was about her ride bracelet.  She also sampled her first lime rickey and some fried clam strips.  Yummy!

   

Kaitlyn’s First Bike

Kaitlyn recently got her first bike.  We have been practicing riding it.  She is still having problems getting started, but once she gets moving she is doing great!
